1. Dr V. S. Acharya, the Higher Education Minister for Karnataka released the emblem and motto of the University on 29, December 2011.

2. Karnataka Janapada Vishwavidyalaya Masoud -2011 is accepted in Karnataka Assembly on 10th December 2011.

3. Karnataka Janapada Vishwavidyalaya Masoud 2011 is accepted in Karnataka Vidhana Parishath on 15th December 2011.

4. The Initial Grant of Rs. 10 lakhs is released from Department of Kannada and Culture to Karnataka Janapada Vishwavidyalaya for the Developmental activities on Kannada Nadu-Nudi.

5.  Karnataka Folklore University Masoud 2011 is accepted by the Vidhana Parishath on 25th January 2012.

6.  Karnataka Janapada Vishwavidyalaya was prepared in Karnataka Vidhana Parishath on 4th February 2012.

7.  Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka His Excellency Govt of Karnataka Folklore Sri H.R. Bhardwaj has signed the Karnataka Janapada Vishwavidyalaya.

8.  The member of Syndicate and Academic Council of Karnataka Janapada Vishwavidyalaya are nominated by Government of Karnataka on 27th May 2012.

9.  On 16th June 2012, the Karnataka Janapada Vishwavidyalaya is officially inaugurated by the then Chief Minister Sri D.V. Sadananda Gowda.
